What's On Stage

...quite possibly the worst book in Musical Theatre History... highly energetic delivery from the strong cast... good use of LED Video screens... It has to be said that Queen’s music is the real star of the show... Noel Sullivan as hero Galileo has charm and more than proves himself vocally... Jenny Douglas as Meat is a wonderful revelation... isn’t the best musical on the block, it certainly isn’t the worst...
The Public Reviews (Rating: 3/5)
...Noel Sullivan as Galileo is perfectly cast. He has an excellent stage presence and is extremely charismatic. Amanda Coutts as Scaramouche is also a delight to watch... Ashley Russell... her acting is very good, her voice isn’t suited to some of the songs... A major problem was with the sound... Another problem is the story...
What's On Stage (Rating: 3/5)
... [Ben] Elton’s plot... is supremely silly and yet knowing enough of its own silliness to be very enjoyable all the same... Really though it’s all about the songs... [Noel] Sullivan... He’s got a terrific set of lungs, a melodic voice and big range... more than matched in the rock vocal stakes by Amanda Coutts... no discernible weak link when it comes to the main vocal performances... From nifty robotic dancing to the pulsating video screens and light show, it’s quite a spectacle...
Liverpool Echo (Rating: 9/10)
...jukebox musical with substance... With a soundtrack that’s won over the audience even before they’ve bought their tickets, the show can’t go wrong... performed the way it should be – full throttle with a live band and belting vocals... Sullivan proves he’s better than Popstars with a firm performance and great singing voice...
